Cookie policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
This page explains which trackers are used on gymprive.fr, what they do and how you can accept or decline them at any time. It complements our privacy policy.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site. Here the term covers all the trackers referred to in article 82 of the French Data Protection Act: HTTP cookies, but also browser local storage (localStorage) and similar technologies.
2. Your choice
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline audience-measurement and advertising cookies.
- Until you accept, none of these trackers is loaded. The Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads scripts are not even downloaded: they are only inserted into the page after you click “Accept all”.
- Declining is as easy as accepting. You can click “Continue without accepting”, close the banner with the cross, press the Esc key or click outside the banner: in every one of these cases your choice is treated as a refusal and nothing is stored.
- You can change your mind at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
- A refusal is remembered for 6 months so that we do not ask you again on every visit; consent is remembered for at most 13 months, after which we ask again.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking audience-measurement cookies does not prevent you from using the site or booking a slot.
3. Strictly necessary trackers
These are essential to the operation of the site and do not require your consent. They serve no advertising purpose.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type and lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| gp_consent | gymprive.fr | Remember whether you accepted or declined cookies | localStorage — 13 months (consent) / 6 months (refusal) |
| gp_consent_at | gymprive.fr | Record when you made that choice, so we can ask again once it expires | localStorage — same lifetime as above |
| Booking widget storage | Bookla | Run the calendar and keep the state of your booking in progress | Technical identifiers of the widget — session lifetime |
| gp_chat_started | gymprive.fr | Remember that you have opened a conversation, so that our reply is shown to you when you come back instead of asking for your e-mail again | localStorage — until cleared |
| Chat storage | Crisp | Run the chat and keep your conversation from one page to the next. Only set if you open the chat, never on a plain page load | Cookie and localStorage — conversation identifier, 6 months |
4. Audience measurement, advertising and usage analysis — subject to your consent
These trackers let us understand how many people visit the site, which pages interest them, which campaigns bring visitors and how the site is used. They are set by Google, through Google Tag Manager, and by PostHog, and only after you agree.
PostHog also records how you move through the site (mouse movements, clicks, pages visited) as a session replay, so that we can spot friction in the booking flow. These recordings are kept for a maximum of 30 days and are only viewed by the Gym Privé team.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type and lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguish visitors in order to produce traffic statistics | Cookie — 13 months |
| _ga_C2RGZCF80F | Google Analytics | Keep session state for this site’s GA4 property | Cookie — 13 months |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Measure advertising effectiveness (conversion attribution) | Cookie — 90 days |
| ph_<project key>_posthog | PostHog | Tie page views and the session replay to the same visit | Cookie and localStorage — 12 months |
| __ph_opt_in_out_<project key> | PostHog | Remember that you opted out of PostHog collection, if you did | localStorage — 12 months |
These tools are provided by Google Ireland Limited. Their use may involve data transfers to the United States, framed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses — see section 5 of our privacy policy. You can read Google’s privacy policy and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
When you decline, Google Consent Mode v2 stays in the “denied” state for all advertising and analytics purposes, and no Google script is inserted into the page.
5. What we do not use
We do not use social-network pixels, third-party advertising cookies other than those listed above, or any tracking tool hosted outside the European Union for your booking data. Should this change, this page would be updated and your consent asked again.
6. Questions
